LaTeX, other external packages

These are packages not part of the standard but that someone at the institution has used.

psfrag: LaTeX-text in PostScript-diagrams

• The package psfrag enables automatic changes of strings in a PostScript-image for LaTeX-constructs.

elsart: Class for IFAC-documents

• Note: Not a package but a class. The class {elsart} was used in a couple of scientific publications publiced by Elsevier. The file ascii.tab is mentioned in the documentation.

booktabs: Publication quality tables

• The package booktabs enables tables of considerably better typographical quality than the default ones. There's also a good description of tables from a typographical viewpoint.
